
Events Planner
Responsibilities
As an Event Planner, you will plan, coordinate and facilitate trade shows and prospect events. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end processes and logistical support to execute multiple national and regional trade shows including: booth exhibits, promotional planning, equipment packaging and shipments.
- Coordinating client meetings and dinner engagements
- Maintaining relationships with exhibit houses, trade show vendors and medical association meeting planners
- Coordinating the graphic/video design and production associated with trade shows and client meetings
- Coordinating planning and logistics for users group and other customer meetings
- Creating and managing expenses for event budgets
- Maintaining various contact databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5+ years experience in a meeting planning role (health care industry preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver materials on tight deadlines as well as managing own work flow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and respond to frequent demands of multiple customers, both internal and external
- Trade show experience required, graphic design experience a plus.
