VISICU Names Vice President of Quality and Client Services February 24th, 2003 VISICU, Inc., creator of the eICU®, has named Nannette R. Spurrier to the newly created role of Vice President of Quality and Client Services. Ms. Spurrier brings to the Company more than 20 years of increasing leadership experience in Information Technology and expands her current VISICU role of directing the company's quality, compliance and regulatory affairs programs. As Vice President of Quality and Client Services, Ms. Spurrier will continue to oversee and expand the company's quality initiatives while extending her management expertise to lead the implementation and support of the eICU® at VISICU's growing and impressive list of clients. Ms. Spurrier is chartered to ensure that VISICU clients experience the highest quality of customer service and support in their system implementations and remain satisfied with the product. Before joining VISICU, Ms. Spurrier held a variety of technical and managerial positions at the National Security Agency (NSA) where she focused on software development and internal network operations. Subsequently, she launched a successful consulting business where she was a Technical Consultant for numerous hi-tech and government agencies including the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Baltimore Gas & Electric (BGE), CTGi Inc., MCI, Biospherics, Ernst & Young, and the American Chemical Society (ACS) where she provided expertise to all phases of the software development process from conception to implementation. Past experience includes conducting Internal Validation and Verification (IV&V) as well as providing systems analysis and process development to help government agencies meet DOD/DOT Security Accreditation requirements. She has also been responsible for designing and implementing automated training tools and programs for use in product introductions and training.
