Integrated Healthcare Delivery Network (IHDN)
VISICU is working with nationally recognized IHDNs to implement the
eICU® solution across their systems. IHDNs have been leaders in capturing
economies by consolidating administrative and support functions, and
are enthusiastic about the prospect of leveraging a small group of
system intensivists and critical care nurses to deliver a consistent
standard of care across their institutions. Intensivists usually practice
at a system's "flagship" hospital, and can build the group
by encouraging intensivist participation at neighboring system hospitals.
